"Moses" is an ongoing project I started in 2017. Iranian jewish community is recognized as a minority group in Iran. Even though, Iran has the second most population of jewish in Middle East after Israel. The number of jewish living in Iran was estimated 85,000 in 2009. However, in the recent decays many Persian jewish moved to Israel. However, there is still jewish communities remained in Iran which have no interest in moving out of the country. I followed Moses, who was born and raised in Yazd, a city with almost 30,000 Jewish before the islamic revolution and only few Jewish families left in the city. I picked Moses as the centre of my story to show the life of Jewsih in Yazd, where is one the most important Jewish cities in Iran because of the main Jewish temples and synagogues which hosts Jewish pilgrims from all over Iran once a year.
This is an ongoing project.
